A native of rural Battle Lake, Minnesota, growing up on Blanche Lake, Reid Brandborg received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo in 2001.  He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Law in Grand Forks in 2004.

Reid's practice areas include criminal defense, family law, patent and trademark law, and civil litigation.  Reid is a licensed attorney in State and Federal Courts in Minnesota and North Dakota.  Reid is also licensed to practice law before  the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Reid has practiced law in Fergus Falls, Minnesota at the Brandborg Law Office since 2004.

Reid's interests outside of work include golfing, hunting, and spending time with his family on their farm in rural Otter Tail County.
