Fees
CIVIL LAW
Most civil cases (real estate, estate planning, litigation, appeals, etc.) are billed on an hourly fee basis. These fees will be billed at a rate of $150 per hour. In some circumstances we will take civil cases on a contingency basis. This means that our fee will be a portion of any award recovered on your behalf. Contingency fees will be negotiated on a case by case basis.
CRIMINAL LAW
Criminal cases are billed at $150 an hour; however, there are many situations in which we can set a flat fee to handle a criminal case. An idea of those flat fees is presented in the table below. The fees below are only attorney’s fees. If there are other fees associated with your case you will be expect to pay those in advance or as they arise. These fees could include a filing fee for a driver’s license revocation challenge ($320 paid to the court), subpoena fees, expert witness fees, etc.
